The Summer of Serendipity by Ali McNamara

The story follows Serendipity "Ren" Parker, a professional talent finder who hunts down unique properties, art, and items for her clients. When she is tasked with finding the perfect, idyllic home in Ireland for a wealthy client, she travels to the beautiful, sleepy village of Ballycove alongside her eccentric assistant, Kiki.

While exploring the local landscape, Ren uncovers a mysterious, long-abandoned thatched cottage tucked away in the hills. The locals refuse to talk about it, hint at old legends, and claim the property cannot be sold.
