Raeta (who also publishes traditional fantasy under the name Rachelle Raeta). Rather than focusing on action, fangs, or dark paranormal thrills, the book reads more like a melancholic, slow-burn slice-of-life romance, drawing frequent comparisons to The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue.
